To adopt or not to adopt

The boys and I fell in love with a beautiful dog at the shelter yesterday. Her name is Brandy (I will call her Bella...I can't say Brandy without thinking of that song from the 70s "Brandy, you're a fine girl, what a good wife you will be...") We will be taking Buckeye to the shelter tomorrow to see if they get along. Buckeye needs a companion, and Bella is such a sweet dog. She's also a therapy dog, which would be really cool if I can take her to nursing homes and schools. I'll have to look into it. Her old owners don't have time for her....so sad.

Easter

Happy Easter! We enjoyed a wonderful visit in PA with Mom and Dad, Gramma, and about 25 others. Here's Gramma (94) blessing the table before Easter dinner. The food was delicious! I tried the lamb (again) and I still don't like it. Luckily there was ham! Maybe someday I'll like lamb!
